A. C. Rumpa... Another Good Find

We were scheduled for a 1pm airsoft game at Pampanga Paradise Island last Sunday, March 9. Left Manila at around 10am so we arrived at Angeles, Pampanga around lunchtime. Syempre naman knowing Pampanga di ba. It's a food haven. We were planning to have lunch at Aling Lucing where the famous sisig originated kaya lang since we droppedby at Marina to look for some gears medyo out of way na si Aling Lucing so stay lang muna sya sa Bucket List. A colleague suggested A. C. Rumpa. So Let's see what A. C. Rumpa offers sa mga kumakalam naming tummy.

I heard that A. C. Rumpa  stands for Angeles City Reserve US Military Personnel Association. It is located at 1037 Surla St., Balibago Angeles City. It doesn't look like a resto from the outside plus it is located on a quiet street. Aside of course from this signage:

Sorry I wasn't able to take a photo of the restaurant's interior but its a relaxing, homey place with partitions that divides the place into 3.

A. C. Rumpa is best known for the breakfast... tapas, it is. Here's the menu:

And these are what I ordered:

Medium Rare Porter House Steak with Mashed Potato and Veggies

Verdict: A bit over-cooked for my liking but the meat is still juicy and tender plus the marinade brings out the nice beef flavor. Bursting! Mashed potato is so-so.

Beef Tacos

Verdict: I love the home-made taco shell. Flavorful plus the taco sauce highlights the taco experience.

Over-all rating is 4 out of 5. 5 to be the highest.
