How to Register Your Company with the BIR

My head is full and spinning... Nyahaha

OMG! Research here, research there, research everywhere. Yan ang peg ko prior to our company's registration to BIR. So many questions but the answers are so few ♪♫♪. Ayan napakanta tulog ako :P

Anyway, I'm just thankful na katabi lang namin ang office ng RDO 050 and I found out na kelangan andon ka na as early as 8:00am at dapat wag kang pupunta ng 10th or 20th of the month kung hindi blockbuster ang pila.

Anyway, let the journey begin :)

First, eto ang list nang mga need dalhin:
1. Dahil Corporate kami... Certificate of Incorporation ng SEC including the By-Laws and Certificate of Incorporation.
2. Contract of Lease if your company is renting or Land Title if the company owns the Office.
3. Mayor's Permit. In our case hindi na sya hinanap since in-process sya during the time of the application.

If you already have those 3, proceed na sa application proper:
1. For Single Proprietorship need i-accomplish ang Form 1901 while Form 1903 naman for Partnership and Corporation. Yan yung mismong application form. Also, accomplish Form 0605 (Payment Form) and Form 2000 (Documentary Stamp Form)
2. Go to your RDO. Kung saan ang jurisdiction nyo. For the complete list of RDOs, you can visit their website http://www.bir.gov.ph/directory/rdo.htm
3. Go to the Officer of the Day and have him assess how much you are going to pay. Registration Fee is Php500.00 while Documentary Stamp Tax on Subscription depends on your declared capital.
4. Go to the bank accredited by the BIR and submit the assessed form to the bank teller.
5. After the payment has been made, go back to your RDO. Get a queue number for registration section and submit the photocopy of the proof of your payment together with all the other requirements.
6. They will give you schedule of release but will require you to attend their seminar. Take a chance to attend this one. Its for free and COR and "Ask for Receipt" sign will be given to you after the seminar.
7. Purchase the Book of Accounts. Normally, there are 6 books for VAT and 4 books for Non-VAT. They are the following:
     a. Journal
     b. Ledger
     c. Cash Receipt
     d. Cash Disbursement
     e. Subsidiary Sales Journal
     f. Subsidiary Purchase Journal
8. Register the Books of Accounts:
     a. Accomplish Form 1905
     b. Submit the accomplished Form 1905 together with the Books to the registration section and wait for the release.
9. Apply for Authority to Print
     a. Accomplish Form 1906
     b. Photocopy COR and paid Registration Form 0605
10. Lastly, have your receipts printed (OR and Invoices). You can ask BIR personnel for the authorized printing press.

You can get downloadable e-BIR Forms here!

Now... its business time!
